Craig’s Country Furniture is based in Loudoun County Virginia, and has been run by a local artist for several years. Craig Johnston has been collecting, creating and crafting reclaimed farm/barn wood into beautiful works of art.  His skills in wood working set his furniture apart from others.  The styles and techniques retain old time traditions. The naturally weathered wood, artistic lines, rich wood tones and smooth finishing make Craig's work truly unique.

When crafting the furniture, great care is taken to retain the rustic beauty of the naturally distressed wood.  Subtle knot holes, old nail holes and burls are part of the charm of his furniture.  Each piece of furniture he creates is unique and crafted by hand without the use of screws or nails.  It's simply made the old-fashioned way!!  Finally for a handsome element of contrast it is hand rubbed with an oil finish.
